Slipping Transmission?
I just bought a 1991 Ford Tempo really cheap as a driver to work and back (a few miles a day, but way less gas than the 66)
And I'm having transmission troubles.
You can drive the car for proboally 10 or 15 minutes and it shifts fine and everything... Well, after that it seems to be in neutral unless you rev it up and then it pulls a bit but not that long.
I checked the fluid and it was a bit low. I filled it up and it does it still, but it takes a bit longer for it to do this.
Any ideas on what it might be?
Dirty filter, needs rebuilt or anything?
Im not looking to spend a ton on the car... so if its transmission I'll just sell it to get my money back.
