I need to buy a newer truck. I understand the 2015’s have a newer generation 6.7 that has many improvements. Is there any difference between the 2011-2014 6.7’s? I can’t afford the 2015, but I want the most reliable engine I can get.

Late model is hard to find and overpriced (but market driven). There is $4k in rebates (going through FMC for $1500 of that, but you can refinance later). I've sold several brand new trucks this year by showing customers enough discount that used just didn't make sense. You can probably do the same. Right now is the best time as '16s are on the lots, but there is still a good selection of '15s to pick from. Generally, if you can afford a late model used one, then you can get a new one and be happy with the deal.

^Agreed. The deals are out there on the 2015s right now. I got right at 10k off sticker on mine, and that was on a dealer locate deal. From what I understand, most of the issues with the Gen 1 6.7s were addressed and corrected by the 2013MY. If you're set on used I'd look for 2013 up. Not to mention you get the nicer (IMO) interior with MyFord Touch etc. if you're looking in the Lariat and up trim levels.
