P1876 code

P1876 code
New member, Florida. I have a '02 F350 just over 114k miles, tow light is flashing and just had P1876 code come up. 4h and 4l engage and disengage with out a problem. Code reads 2wd solenoid circuit failure. Where is this solenoid is located?

P1876 indicates an electrical problem with the PVH solenoid
- Check connectors both ends (PVH solenoid and GEM module for corrosion, pushed pins, etc)
- Check for 12V supply at PVH common terminal.
- PVH solenoid (check coil resistance each side to common, should be ~50 ohms each side).
- Check continuity both circuits back to GEM module.
- Replace GEM module.
