may have been posted before but i havent seen it. just got a new 15' 350 XL and going thru the 'setup' button on steering wheel, there is a toggle option for power windows. got out the old owners manual and heres what it does. when toggled to 'on position' and you unlock doors with the ignition key, you can immediately press and hold the unlock button again and both front windows go down automatically. this of course is for models equipped with power windows and door locks. dont know why we need this option but it'll roll your windows down for you from afar.

My 15 Platinum has that feature too. Wasn't sure what it was at first. Then I figured it out.
Like you said, unlock the truck (single or double click) then hold the unlock button to roll the front two door windows down.
I use it all the time to let the hot air out of my truck on those increasingly common 100º days here. That combined with the auto AC activated by remote start and my truck is quite cool when I go to get in. FYI...rolling back up is not an option.
Just tried it. Didn't work. Tried only single door unlock and all doors unlock then held button. Nothing. Sorry.
That's odd. It should work - IF you have it enable in the menu. I dont think mine was enabled by default. Check settings in the dash menu. You also have to try it soon after unlocking doors. You cant wait several minutes then try it.
From the owners manual:
"GLOBAL OPENING (IF EQUIPPED)
You can use the remote control to operate
the windows with the ignition off.
Note: To operate this feature, accessory
delay must not be active.
Opening the Windows
You can only open the windows for a short
time after you unlock your vehicle with the
remote control. After you unlock your
vehicle, press and hold the remote control
unlock button to open the windows.
Release the button once movement starts.
Press the lock or unlock button to stop
movement. "

adding to ginthers quote above from owners manual, a suggestion.
after unlocking, press and HOLD again, maybe for 4 or 5 seconds and windows should go down.
I've been using that feature on my truck since new. My truck sits out in the 105-110 degree sun while at work. I roll down the windows as I hit the parking lot and it really helps to get rid of that initial hot blast of air when you first open the door.
Actually, you don't need to unlock and then re-press and hold. Just simply hold the unlock button for 4-5 seconds, and the fronts power down.
FWIW, this is an extremely common feature on European cars for many years now. Our old 1995 Mercedes E Class didn't even have remote entry, but you could hold the key in the door lock one way or the other - lock position raised all windows and closed the sunroof; unlock lowered all windows. Our 2002 E-Class did this from the remote. My 2000 Jetta did this from the door lock, and my 2012 GTI did this from the remote.
I'm glad Ford has it. I suspect its only on the front windows because only they have the "one-touch" logic. That's also the reason this is a relatively new feature...only since the Super Duty got one-touch up / down on both front windows did this become available. My old 2012 truck simply had the one-touch down on the driver's only.
It would be nice to be able to close the windows remotely - like everyone jumps out, you lock the car, and realize someone forgot to put their window up. But hey, we'll take what we can get.
