Transmission Question
I just bought a used 2000 model F250 Supercab with 24,000 miles and a 5.4 V-8 with auto trans.
I tow my boat with this truck. I've noticed that when I am at the ramp, and the truck is on the ramps incline that the truck has a tendancy to roll backwards when the transmission is in drive. Is this normal for these trucks or do I have something wrong with it?
Under normal driving conditions the tranny seems to shifts fine.
Prior to this truck I owned a 1999 F150 Supercab w/5.4 auto, and it didn't do this.
The other thing I noticed is that when I stomp on the pedal the trans seems to have a delayed upshift by comparison to the F150.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Brian
