If they took the two piece drive shaft ie: the splined piece apart and did not put it back at the same place -- would that be enough cause for vibration?
I ALWAYS have my multiple piece drive shafts balanced. I have tried many times to just replace the joints but EVERY time I did I had a vibration that was cured by balancing. I have replaced hundreds of U-joints in normal one piece shafts without any problems.
My drive shaft assembly has now been rebalanced and the timing is restored and I still have a vibration in the drive train. Where do you go from here. I have a new set of tires. HELP!
