super duty lightning swap
I have been searching multiple forums and can not find a complete list of what all I need to put the lightning setup with a 2.3 whipple in my 2003 f250. Everything I have found is half complete or has a link to mad enterprises which no longer exists or is for an f150. As far as the wiring goes I know to keep my pcm with custom tuning but have read everything from no big deal to having to build a custom harness. My engine will consist of trick flow track heat heads, je pistons, manley rods, arp studs for heads and mains, cams in the 214 to 216 range, built 4r100 4.88 gears on 35's. I planned on an f1d, gt4094r or twin gt2871r setup but I have had people try to convince me to do the lightning setup with a whipple. I would like to know for sure what I'm looking at before I start ordering parts. Can anyone help?
