not yet i have to locate the right tools. but check this out, i drained her and flushed her good and filled her back up. ran her hard down the road for 1/2 mile and back.had to add lil over 2 gal.which i could see blew out around the brand new cap .filled her back up and run her again the same way no loss this time.
did i read somewhere tha its best to use only motorcraft t-stat ? this is my second one from o---ys..thanks for any advice
Do a search for those codes. And yes you should use motor craft t stat. Also when you drain system there are a lot of pockets which air stays in for awhile. I have the system power flushed on our 04 and have not had a problem. Yes it costs more but so far no radiator or other problems. Also do not mix different kinds of antifreeze as it doesn't like it and could cause problems down the road.
my scanner is a "sct" and it says p1211 is "ICP NOT COMPATABLE"
