I have searched this forum and found similar situations, but all a little different than mine.
2002 F-150 Supercab 5.4L auto 4x4 FX4. Low beams stopped working a few days ago. Unlike other posts, I have not touched anything on mine. High beams work fine. Flash to pass works fine. Park lights are fine. Fog lights work. I checked fuse 26 and 28 and they are good. When ever I have run into this on other vehicles, it seems like it is usually a relay. Is there a relay that could be causing this, and where is it? I do not have a meter available to help my for a few days, and need to drive at night tomorrow.
Thanks for any and all help.
Is the truck equipped with either DRL or Autolamps (or both)?
Have you considered that both headlight bulbs might be bad? If the fog lights work normally and fuses F26 & F28 are both good, there isn't much left except the bulbs.
You'd really need a meter or test lamp to diagnose for certain.
