Had the stumble & die till revved like crazy, ONLY ONCE. I think it was very wet. Never happened again. Never had an X leak BUT, they can & do . from reading it's usually on the right side on the electronics, NOT GOOD

As soon as i start it it revs up then dies if i don't step on the gas and even then it'll die if I take my foot off the gas.
Took about 5 times today until it kept running
Hopefully if it cost me money, it'll be down the road
If you go looking around there is a thread or 2 that might apply. They discuss & fix the water entering the engine compartment & flooding the back cylinders. The split in the middle of the back rubber hood gasket. I think it's just a matter of some good silicone but not sure.
I'll jump on the IAC bandwagon too. Closing up that gap in the rear hood seal is a good idea to keep the plugs dry. Also get that windshield leak sealed up ASAP, if that water gets into the GEM bad expensive things can happen, seal it up!
When I get my front suspension put in next week, I'll have the mechanic do a full scan to see what codes it's throwing and get taken care of what I can at that time.
I'm going to buy an IAC anyways and have him swap it.
I might buy a new starter also and have that put in.
It's a 16 year old vehicle so I'm sure those parts are going to start needing to be replaced.
Now I got to figure out a way to get my free windshield replacement from my insurance company
I was having wet weather issues and finally got it to throw a misfire code for #1 and #9, replaced both coil packs and problem went away. About a month later, again during wet weather, it stumbled a bit upon start up. Figured it was time, replaced the other 8 coil packs and all 10 plugs. Runs MUCH better, didn't realize how off she was! Even picked up a couple mpgs! May not be the same as your issue, but a place to check? Good luck!
