434+ build

I was going to run down a list of parts than I planned on getting and see some suggestions. I have 351m that is going to be built while it is being "remanufactured"
- Tim Meyers 434 Stroker Kit
- Crane HR-216, Plus to fit the roller cam in the 400 block
- Assembled heads such as CHI and trick flow. Any suggestions?
- Holley 650 (idk model) suggestion?
- If there is anything else that you see I don't have or need please give suggestions.

You are better of with a custom comp hydraulic roller cam (ask tim) and a 750 cfm carb...

How much HP are you looking for? Vehicle/usage?

Carb - AT LEAST a Holley 670 Street Avenger.

Lots of ARP, especially oil pump drive shaft.

NO high volume oil pump! Not worth the hassle if you mod the oil system properly.

Roller rockers for sure, Scorpion has great customer service.

Hardened pushrods - they are LONG on this engine.

Cam might be a little small depending on what you're looking to do.

I'm still trying to make my mind up on whether I should build the stroker or just get a nice 400. It's gonna be a daily driver. Which do you think?

Alloy heads = stroker for sure.

You could build a stroker with a factory head, but you'd better be willing to spend some time porting them!

Run at least a 750cfm carb, 400's like lots of breathing room, and remember you can always retune/restrict a larger carb. I'd stay away from the avenger carbs (street or truck), look at a demon or proform.
