Talking cam selections

g'day all, i have a bit of a delema with chooseing a cam for my new engine, its a 557 scat stroker kit (460) with edelbrock alloy heads, (60669) im going to go with roller rockers and all the good gear but finding it hard to work out what cam i need, the truck is going to be used for street/strip sorta work, and i want a reasonabley maintaince free engine. (i mean no big hassels of adjusting rockers befor i drive to the shops) can any one give me any ideas???

Your stroker absolutely BEGS for a good roller cam setup!

Using the Crane 325-2S-12 hydraulic roller grind, an 1100 CFM carb , and headers with 2.25" primaries, DD predicts 676 HP @6000 and 697 lb-ft @4500. On pump gas. Yikes.

I have decided on a very similar setup as yours, but I am not going to start mine until next year at the earliest. Whenever you get yours together, post back with your opinions. I can't believe you would have a whole lot to complain about with a 557 stroker, but I am interested nevertheless.

thanks fellas, i,ve heard alot of stories about the crane gear, and i think it will be a good thing, thanks again mr johnson you've been a huge help so far....
