I have a SCT Livewire TS installed for about 8k miles and was on a road trip over July 4th and notice the truck was surging with periods of low power. Eventually I noticed the boost would completely drop off when this was happening. it would only do this in 6th gear and above 70 mph. It would only do it for about 3-4 minutes and not again for about an hour. Didn't do it at all the next day but a week later noticed it doing it again. Anyone heard of anything like this? Thx.
Not sure on newer diesels but on semi's I had an issue similar and it turned out to be a wastegate in the turbo getting stuck. Eventually I blew it right off .

Hi Charcoal 250,
Does this happen pretty regularly? If so, it might be wise to make an appointment at your dealership. Take your tech on a test drive so you can show them the surging/power loss. How many miles are on your truck?
No it's only happened twice. I have 16k miles on the truck.
Thanks for responding, Charcoal 250! Let me know if you decide to get your dealership involved; I'll loop in your regional customer service manager so they can help. All I need to make that happen is a PM from you with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.
