Large 2BBl manifold and carb for $30. It is not the 500 CFM Holley but the seller said it was in the 400 some odd range. Has to be better than the teapot 2BBl that is on the truck now.
Realnice. Looks clean. Was it rebuilt or new old stock?
Seller said he bought the truck and this was on it. It was a good running vehicle. I believe it was a larger truck such as bigger than an F350. I don't remember the year he said it was. He said I should not have to do anything but put it on and go. He replaced it because he has been a Y block guy for a long time and had 2 of the large 4bbl manifolds and he put one of them on the truck. I didn't even ask if he might want to sell the other large 4bbl manifolds..... LOL. I was happy just to find this. Not sure if carb has been rebuilt at all. He just said it was running when he took it off of the truck. Even if I have to rebuild it myself I think it was still worth the price.
good find,i have I truck with a 1 bbl on the y block,3 1bbl,3 2 bbl,1 with a 4 bbl,there getting harder to find,
I also have one of the teapot 4bbl manifolds. That I will look into getting an adapter to change it up to a wide base 2bbl. This will probably go in my sons 64 F100 that has the 235 in it now. He will get the 292 out of my 63 if I don't have to use it in my 57.
You know come to think of it. I will take a look at the 2BBl manifold that is on my 63 292 and see what it is. It may already be the wide base 2BBl as it looks nothing like the carb that is in my 57. Humm?
