So glad sites like this exist and thank you to all who make it possible. I'm sure it's not easy devoting your time. I just purchased a 1981 F100 three speed on the column with a straight six in Cape May NJ. My nephew drove me down to pick her up and provide some support for the two hour drive north up the parkway if need be. So happy we made it off my exit before the engine decided to catch fire! I was able to put it out quick and it looks like just some vacuum tubes gone. I'm excited to search the forums here before I start stripping things down and replacing old rubber parts. I learned to drive a stick on basically the same truck 25 years ago and am so happy to have one again!
