A pic of the failed belt would be good. Are you using the same brand of belt? maybe try a Ford belt?
Belts fail from age, heat and misalignment which includes a seized pulley and pulley walk. Are you sure when your putting the belt on all the grooves on all the pulleys are aligned and your not a groove off somewhere? Seen that one before.
I took it and hooked it up on the dyno table today and set cruse at 70 and had someone turn the wheel. I could not get it to totaly fail but was getting a lot of noise from the power steering pump. I will change it tomorrow and let you know if that fixes the issue. The wife is about to make me trade it in on a new one. And I don't want that. I love having no note.
