f250 will not start

f250 will not start
i have a 1987 ford f250 , i was moving the truck across my lawn , and it just died, it started hard and just barely ran , now to the next point then died again, now the truck will not start , it will start just a little with starting fluid, just a little . now not at all, but the strange thing is the tachometer moves all by itself with the ignition in the run position , it moves all over the place and when i crank it , it will go around in a circle , any suggestions on what to look for, thank you all.
