HEI distributor
Does anyone know of a HEI distributor that would work on a 1989 4.9 under $150? Seems like most of the V8 have a $60 option but for the inline I only see ones for over $300. And does anyone have one and have an opinion?

Hello Andrew, and welcome to the forums.
On the HEI, not that I've found. The $60 option for the V8s is a cheap, Chinese version. Some people say they work well, but they're still an inferior product. There just isn't the market for them to make a 300 I6 version and have the specs shipped off to China.
The $300+ version for the I6 is a hand made American version, and the cost reflects it.
