Priced for quick sale, we both know it's worth more, no games. Will consider trades for a 100% reliable compact extended cab pickup, automatic, with working a/c that can make a 1500 mile road trip without any issues. Something like an early 00's Ranger, S10, Dakota or Frontier.
I've documented most of the work I've done over the years here in the forums, but have done a lot since I last posted here. Carb has less than 100 miles on it. Heating issues resolved, even in 95+ degree weather we've been having.
The good: 351M engine was rebuilt in around '07, bored .30 over. Holley carb, MSD ignition and coil. Auto transmission works great, flexplate replaced in 2012. Just picked up from $1500 brake job incl. brake lines, calipers, etc etc. Mega size radiator w/ transmission cooler. Edelbrock intake manifold. Upgraded 1-wire alternator. Runs around town without issue. Straight pipes, stupid 70's smog equipment removed. 33" tires. Diamond plate on bedrails and diamond plate toolbox. Aftermarket Sony stereo and extra speakers behind the seat. Clear title. Aftermarket steering wheel- if you've seen the giant original one, you know that's a good thing. Have service receipts dating back to the rebuild.
The bad: Missing on Cyls 5 and 8- hasn't had a tuneup in 2 years, so might be something minor, but no promises. Electric fan is currently hardwired to the battery- requires $35 thermostat kit. One locking hub doesn't lock- $100 part required for 4x4 functionality. One background light out in dash and I'm not sure if the gas gauge works. Vacuum boost canister is hooked up but needs a bracket. One valve cover bolt is broken, it's worked fine with a C-clamp over it since 2010. Steering is sloppy, think it's the steering shock but not sure. Slight rust and some dings, clearcoat is peeling on hood, roof. Seats were recovered in ~'07, but are faded.
Have the tailgate, but it has a rust hole in it and needs a new handle. Included with sale.
Basically this is an easy project or flip. I'm going to miss it like crazy. Sold as-is because I won't be back in town much over the next two years.
