Carburetor

Hey guys got a question. I have to replace my carburetor on my 1984 Ford F150 V8 302. It has a 2 barrel on it now. Which is better a 2 or should i change it to a 4 barrel. And also any suggestions on where to get carburetor from on line

Welcome to the FTE!

Would argue that a four barrel is generally a better choice. But, also requires a 4 barrel intake too. Avoid 2/4 adapters. Carburetors can usually be rebuilt several times btw. Why exactly do you "have to replace" the stock carburetor?

Do you have the AOD transmission? Then be sure whichever carb you get will handle the trans linkage.
