Diesel

Is there anybody in the country who'll do a diesel conversion for the expedition. I know there's duraburb for the Chevy guys, but I'm wondering who's out there for us, because I would think that maybe not a power stroke but maybe the smaller one like in the transit might fit, right? Would a 6.7?

There are probably 100+ good shops that could do it. My guess, $100k for the PS conversion. Does it make sense to drop that much $ into that conversion, and at the end of the day, what have you really gained ? Plus, resale value would probably drop off the table.

Not trying to be funny, but there is virtually no market for the conversion and anything would be a one-off. IMHO you would be better off with a Expedition-like conversion on top of an existing F250 PSD if that's the effect your looking for. Good luck....

The current 3.2L used in the Transit would be no joy for an Expedition owner who's looking for better MPG's and seat in the pants power.

The ecoboost does what's needed with diesel like attributes but gas like buy in costs, maintenance.
