I am planning to put a diesel engine in my 78 F-250. Several people have suggested that the Cummins is a better engine and easier to retofit into my truck. Before I commit, what do you Ford diesel folks think. I can save a little weight with Cummins. I can possibly save a litte $ with the Cummins, but I want to use a Ford automatic transmission, so I may give the $ back with the adapters. Any comments/ suggestions would be appriciated.
