Wink Keeping her!

Hey all..my first post. I have decided to keep a truck I bought for my son I am a bit frustrated with all the different "opinions" from guys around here. Seems they want to debate the year and size engine with me..sigh...oh well..so I am here to learn from the big boys! I look forward to posting some info and pics. My goal is to keep it stock and clean! I need to replace the interior door panels and put in a bed liner , and some paint..but not much else. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a liner made from the diamond metal that is used for the truck toolboxes? I also need to figure out if I can add power steering! Thanks for any and all...Anita

I've never seen diamond plate in a bed but my son fabricated door panels from diamond plate and it looks OK. You need to create a gallery and post all the particulars about your truck and you'll get all the help you need (probably a little more even).

I have seen beds fully lined with treadplate aluminum, its not a kit. You have to go to a weld shop to get it done, very expensive. For example, my truck is. Although I add that it came that way. Looking forward to seeing your gallery...

you can convert it to power steering and i don't think it would be a major headache at all, you will probably like it when it is all said and done. the heads should have the holes for mounting the pump, and all else you might need is the correct gearbox
