Sorry about the FIPW scale, but it's easy to see it's 3-3.75 approx, not 30-37
Kinda concerned about HPOI...Seems kinda low to me?
HPOI is an experimental calculation Tugly has been working on. The theory is that anything over 10 shows a weakness in the other component performance ratios.
So you want to be under 10.
Did you have the pedal to the floor? I'm wondering why the RPMs didn't go higher. Did it run out of power? Boost stopping going up, too.
Was this with a tune? Economy, tow, race, stock, etc?
Rich is really the guy to do the best analysis. I have ideas, but hopefully he'll chime in soon and maybe teach us both something, LOL
I am concerned about that too. I did redo some boots but I think that it was after I sent this file. I have a TW chip on Street Race for now. I think it was just a hard run to 70mph or so. I can do a WOT when I get some alone time. Been running around all damn week. I need a vacation from vacation!! LOL
I think I should be building more boost and the RPM's should not be topping out. This is a new chip to me and I still have my EDGE programmer being used for gauges. Also added the JW valve body at the same time.
Art's WOT graph from the same run. I would normally wait and let him post it himself, but considering his internet problems, I'll help out from my side
Just recently I had a leak at the clamp that connects the uppipes to the back of the exhaust side of the turbo. When I hit a certain speed under load (towing up long, steep hill), it just plateaued. Wouldn't even downshift.
My graph showed EBP similar to yours. But I was not running any tunes.
I would suspect you have a leak that is blowing off under a certain load and EGT (expanding/contracting pipes and pressure is what I figure made mine rear its ugly head).
If so, that could explain low boost and a bouncy EBP.
You could also have a wastegate problem, not allowing full boost, but I don't know if that would show up in EBP
Did you say you are sure about fuel supply and pressure? Topping out your fuel could keep you at a given, lower rpm range.
From what I've read about the RR 4/4 wheel, it builds boost faster (at lower rpms), so I don't think that's it...? I ordered one and had it here to install, but couldn't due to "technical difficulties" So I don't have a log for a reference.
Are you running oversized tires? There could be a shift point/power thing there...?
These are some thoughts. WhiteBuffalo is on vacation and Tugly isn't here yet, so you get stuck with me, Hahaha!
Thank you very much. For some reason I cannot see all my photos on photo bucket. So posting them here is near impossible!! Tomorrow I will get a better WOT and we can try again.
I'm thinking with my chip I should be hitting above 20PSI...easily, not struggling to hit 17/18PSI..
EBPS and tube are new a couple of weeks ago...and I cleaned the manifold and fittings also. ICP about 2 months ago. I run 295/70/18's which are a hair over 34" in diameter... Haven't checked fuel supply and pressure yet, and I did not get to the turbo for leaks yet either. Ran out of time as usual.
