I have a 1988 f150 "glorifieD half ton" I just got the truck on the road and I hear what I guess you could call a chatter. At 45 it is very prominent when you let off a little keeping a tiny bit of pressure on the pedal. Trying to maintain a constant speed at 55 and over the noise will drive you nuts. Past 60 it's constant no matter what you do. It didn't have fluid touching the stick at first bit I put two or three quarts of type f and it's over filled slightly and has the same noisy problem. It does it at a certain speed for sure not in nuetral and I've never heard it in first either.
I don't have a clue at this point what it is any help?
