Brian, I am glad you brought this old thread up again. I have a set of 16" innies that I got off a 64 F100 in a salvage yard. I was pretty sure they came off of something older until I now see ( Thanks to Number Dummy) that 16" wheels were available on up to 65 f100's. I also got 2 more 16" innies that came with a 54 dana 44 rear end I bought at a swap meet, I would sell these if you're interested. I don't what to ship them though. Maybe you are close to Michigan and could pick them up? PM me if interested. Anyway my 56 did have stock 85 (or so) f150 15" wheels when it still had the drums on the front. Can't you just see if your rear 15" will fit on the front?

I'm nowhere near Colorado isn't too close to Michigan.

However, I am thinking I'll try out the 15 inch on the front, they match the color of the paint that's left (not much) but I didn't really know I could get caps for them until I read this thread and they sure look like they can take an "outie". I'll need to get 2 more new to me tires... at which point I'll know if the rim is good (one is for sure, another the tire leaks so i don't know).

I checked and the 15s fit on the front as well. However, I haven't gotten tires yet, nor hubs. I decided I really want to find 2 more 16 inch rims(with the rusty look) since those were the more stock and period look I think (with the innies). If I can't find them I'll probably eventually switch to the 15s all around... but for now I'll wait and hit a few swap meets and salvage yards before I decide what I'm going to do.

I have a 6 wheels, and no hubcaps. I am going to the Monroe Auto Swap Meet in Washington this weekend, hopefully I can find (2) 16" wheels. I will trade (4) 15" wheels. We will see. I also am hoping to score hubcabs to fit the 16" innies also this weekend. I am leaving my truck patina/stock so beat up hubcabs and wheels will work. Wish me luck. lol
pic 1-2 are 16" innies
pic 2-3 are 15" outies
pic 3 are 15" ?? no clue someone gave them to me. I have 2 but they have weird clips.
