help with masking tape
i taped up the outside of my trucks bed with masking tape, because i was going to primer my bed. well halfway through i ran out of primer so i decided to leave the tape on for a couple days till i could get more primer. i might add that it has been 100 degrees out. now i cant get the tape off, and when i can it leaves behind the adhesive on my pain. it is a gooey mess

Right at the parts store, they have adhesive remover in a spray can. I didn't think it'd work, but I tried it on my boat to get the old reg. off the hull, works like a charm. Now I use it for every little adhesive mark I find.
Just spray it, let it set for a few seconds, and start working at it with a rubber scraper, fingernail, anything that wont scratch the paint. When it starts to get difficult, spray a little more, and keep going.

help with masking tape
Next Time use the blue painters tape. It costs a little more but it will not stick like regular masking tape after the sun has beamed on it. You can get it prety much anywhere you get masking tape.
