I ran the Performance tune for awhile and I got the best MPG from that tune. The truck ran good on it however it was a little aggressive for me. So was the street. I've been using the 65hp tow tune and its the best of both world for me. I get about 2 mpg increase and the power is great but not enough to break the back end loose everytime you touch the throttle
I am on the fence as well. Where do you get the X4? I see on E-bay they can be had for 305.00 ..... Is that all you need? then add custom tunes down the road? Or is a custom tune needed ASAP?

I always liked the canned Performance tune. It has some good pep to it and nice MPG. Sure it doesn't turn the truck into a Redneck Ferrari like an SRL or Looney Tune, but it'll snap some necks and drop panties just as well.
Ive heard if you buy the ones off ebay or amazon that are lower than the MSRP SCT will not warranty the device. Anyone ever ran into problems like that?

SCT will absolutely not cover any sales by this merchant. All dealers sign an agreement that this eBay listing violates. They can be sold at any price,,, but can't be advertised below the min price. I wonder if this seller is listed on SCT's site as a dealer??
