A/C will not turn off
The A/C on my 08 expy will not turn off while I'm driving. The only way I can get it to shut off is to press the button and then turn off the ignition. Otherwise it will still be on the moment I crank the truck again. I'm sure somebody else has had this problem. I hope this is an easy and cheap fix. Thanks for any help.

I was also,having issues with my heater / AC and I ended up replacing the blower moter resistor and everything works great now except my AC when the front is on max it j use shuts off. If I turn the front fan speed down one setting all is good. The rear AC can go at full blast without any issues.

Same here. Just replaced it tonite. Bought the truck, 08 EL EB last week and next day fan speed stuck on high no matter what I did. Even pressing the off button. 70 dollar part from OReillys and its fixed for the most part. I don't know why we can't turn it on max, but oh well.
They even gave me another one to try and it did the same thing.
I think it is something to do with ford updating the part compared to the version that shipped with our vehicles.
