Wiring question

Ok, I'm about to tackle the wiring on my 1964, I inherited this truck from my uncle, and he already had bought this kit

Highway 15 Wiring Kit We Make Wiring THAT Easy!

my question is...have any of y'all used this?

If so, will I have to splice in and recycle some of the plastic terminals...example, the headlights...it has a couple plastic things that snap together...I'm sure I'm using the wrong for these items...bear with me...

Also, if that is in fact what needs to be done with this type of wiring kit...should i be worried about that small amount of old wires still being around? Or is that negligible?

First and Foremost, if already have not done so let me that the opportunity to welcome you to FTE!! I purchased individual wiring harness from American Autowire, not sure if same manufacturer as the kit you posted?? With the individual harnesses it was a matter of unplugging the old harness and plug in the new, same wiring color codes and connectors as the original, pleased with the quality. Imagine the kits are perhaps little more involved requiring soldiering.

I am posting link for comparison only, certainly cost considerably more.
