Edge Insight shuts off while driving

I tried searching and found nothing helpful. I have a 96 250 and have an Edge Insight for gauges. Does everything it's suppose to except recently it will randomly shut off while driving. I can touch the screen and it will turn back on but once it finishes loading, it shuts off again. I called Edge and they reset the software in it but they said I may have a problem with my PCM not communicating with the OBD2. I know the OBD2 has power, unless it loses power for a split second and is back. Where do I start?

That is interesting. Have you made sure your harnesses are all still making a good connection. do you have any play when you jiggle the edge harness at the OBD2?

There is no play. Can anyone tell me how to find the wires running from the PCM to the port?

Something you may try if you have a friend who has a powerstroke is try it on their truck and see if it does the same thing. That way you can know for sure if it is the Edge or the OBD port
