drum to disk brake converting.....
Ok on my 86 cclb the 4.10 rear axle dust cover is bent out and not looking good, can't find replacement anywhere. So to convert it could I essentially use the rotors and calipers with the bracket? And replace the lines. Get a front dust cover as well. Or does anyone know of a better solution? No super rush but I want to know so I can save for this project to do list.

Yeah I forget terminology for it but either way discontinued part. Local by doesn't have the part either. But I think disk conversion would be good, but copying the front brakes and bracket to hold the caliper in place is what I am thinking. Only thing is the parking brake but I haven't used it since I bought it anyway. I use boards or now chock blocks I bought from Napa 3.99 a piece. But this I'm hoping would be a easy mod.
