Can anyone tell me how I can improve braking on my 98 f-150?
I recently mounted cooper 285/75R16 tires on my original 16 inch rims. When I break it does not stop like it used to. It takes longer to break and there are times when after pressing the break all the way in, i hear like a pop in the pads and it does not break instanly.
Can someone tell me what could be going on with my wheels?
What can I do?
Get it to the dealer, could be a factory defect. You really want to improve your brakes, www.baer.com makes brake for almost everything. It dont do any good to run 85 mph if you cant stop.
