97 f350 is there a plug under dash to plug in brake controller?

Most likely, here is an article that indicates there are different situations:

My catalogs shows a 97 F-350 is plug and play for brake controllers and lists the adapter. etrailer also shows the adapter and has a video which states controllers just plug in.
