Does it matter what speed the engine is at? Like idle vs. revving higher? I'm guessing I should have something around 40psi? What should I look for with the vac hose off?
I read 31 lbs at idle and when I removed the vacuum line from the FPR it went to about 40...is this too low? What would that cause as far as how it runs?
naw, I got a rough idle...runs good other than that. The cat was plugged up and I replaced it (both of them with a single). The muffler is showing excessive heat and the exhaust smells overly rich. I think gas is going into the cat and causing problems. Plugs, cap, rotor, wires and coil are new and no change. Changed fuel filter, checked egr, IAC and MAP...can't find any vacuum leak and I pull 19" constant now. I'll check to see if I have an injector stuck open by testing the fuel pressure off the rail and see how long it holds it pressure after it is turned off.
