My sister lived in Millbrook , and my father at The Fountains, before passing. Still have a niece and nephew there.
Oh okay I'm familiar with the Millbrook area. I work at Sandanona out there, hence the Orvis sticker on my back window.
Read your thread, nice truck.
Thank You!
Read your thread, nice truck. Mention of Fancy Gap reminded me that that is a high wind area along I 77. Seems several tractor trailers get blown over every year.
Yikes! Luckily no high winds when we passed through.
Gotta laugh. A friend bought a 1997 F-150 ~7 years ago. The odo read ~45K if I remember correctly.
The vehicle spent the preceding 2 years idle in a garage in Ticonderoga, NY.
I'm told this is where rust does its finest work.
He lives at the end of the slowest run of internet wire in the world.
Ergo, I join auto boards for him. The benefit at my end is that he calls me with problems and I go look 'em up.
His F-150 has been essentially trouble free so I haven't been looking at Ford boards.
He has been revamping the truck throughout his ownership as you might expect.
New gas tank, shocks, sway bar links, some front end stuff, new exhaust manifolds + "Y" pipes incl. new cats + muffler, plugs+wires +...
Lately he has a "worsening" misfire. He claimed it was always there but I NEVER could detect it.
Such fun!
I joined this board 6 years + 9 months ago and forgot about it. This current misfire search has shown me how good this place is.
I never searched for anything here before. The posts here are great!
So I'm back! Cheers, George (& Kira)
