Hi Nat. Retirement is fun isn't it? I alternate between NY and Virginia (near Martinsville). Brother goes down to Tarpon Springs during the Winter. Lots of NYorkers go to the Fort Meyers area.

Here are some recent new members of the Chapter.

First off let me introduce PhilZX6 who lives on Long Island and currently owns a 2015 F150 Platinum and also a 1966 F100 Custom.

Secondly let me introduce Lds79ford, who lists in his profile that he is a professional firefighter and also is a Senior Master Technician. He currently owns a 2009 F150.

Third let me introduce DarkyDizzle13 who stated that he is "always down to meet new truck nuts"... I think that most of us are truck nuts to one degree or another He currently owns a 1994 Bronco.

Last but not least, let me introduce zmarty25 who lives in Rochester and is a geologist working in an oilfield in eastern Ohio. He recently purchased a 1967 F100 with a 390, 3 speed and posi.

So welcome to the chapter and I hope to see you around.

Join me in welcoming the newest members of the NY Chapter.

First we have Jordanf150 and his name is James. He recently purchased a "new to me" 1979 F150 Custom. He is looking to self teach himself mechanical work and is looking for guidance and to make some new friends.

Secondly we have vhmike73. He lives in Watervliet, NY and owns a 2013 F150. His interests are riding his Harley, wasting time on computers (sounds like a perfect skill for the BS forum), computers, reading and watching sports.

Welcome aboard guys and I hope to see you on the forum.

Well, it has been awhile since we have had some new members so today will make up for that with 4 people joining the chapter ranks.

First off, let me introduce Big Gas Truck who hails from Greene, NY. He is a general outdoorsman and currently has a 2018 F250.

Secondly, let me introduce wingdavid who hails from Auburn, NY. He stated that he was picking up his 3rd . The list includes a 1997 F350, 2008 F350 dually and the most recent is a 2018 F250 gasser.

Third, let me introduce
Hanns Starski who resides in Dutchess County. He lists owning a 1996 F350.

Lastly, let me introduce
ROGUEROADIE who resides in New York City. He collects vintage guitars and has his own company that makes guitar accessories. In the joining request, he stated that he "bought a new 2017 F350 Platinum dually and plans on going full time RVing by Labor Day." Sounds like the 350 will be doing some work on a regular basis.

Again welcome everyone to the NY Chapter and I hope to see you around.

Thanks for accepting me, I would have included more information about myself, but wasn't sure where to put it.

I enjoy hunting, wrenching, and baseball (LGM!) Looking forward to chatting.

I also just created a thread for my truck My 1996 F-350 CCLB

My sister lived in Millbrook , and my father at The Fountains, before passing. Still have a niece and nephew there.
Read your thread, nice truck. Mention of Fancy Gap reminded me that that is a high wind area along I 77. Seems several tractor trailers get blown over every year. Bought a 94 Crown Vic this Spring from a guy in Fancy Gap. He was from Binghamton before moving South.
