So I almost have my 6.0 egr/oil (and everything else needed) replacement done and I left the two bolts that go into the radiator fan shroud on the table last night which are missing!! The damn raccoons took them. I need to know what size are they? any help is appreciated.
15 mm for the stator the black open frame work behind the fan blade.
Or are you talking about the flat plastic plate getween the radiator and front grill or the round plastic thing that guards the fan blade from the front? Those should be 8mm or 10mm and some push pins on the radiator side of the flat plastic piece.
If you meant the fan stator bolts that go into the intake, go under and remove one of the lower two stator bolts. They have a 15mm head, and all four in the stator should be identical.
If you mean the actual fan shroud to radiator, the four radiator support bracket bolts are identical to the two that go through the shroud.
I was not very clear, the two that go into the intake that bolt the shroud to it, I will do what texastech_diesel said...<table width="100%" align="center" class="tborder" style="border-top-width: 0px;" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="6"><tbody><tr title="Post 15460331" valign="top"><td width="125" align="center" class="alt2"></td><td class="alt1"> If you meant he fan stator bolts that go into the intake, go under and remove one of the lower two stator bolts. Get some liquid cayenne pepper and some nice sparkly
nuts and bolts.Dip them in the juice and let dry. Leave
out where your guests can grab then and watch the fun.
You might also try some dog kibble treated the same.
