Butt ugly front end, JMHO. Grill looks too much like a current SD. I am in the market but this would not work for me. The Ram is looking better all the time. I never thought I would buy a Fiat/Chrysler product but I really like the Jeep Wrangler in my signature. I hate to say it but I might just keep the 03 and buy a Mustang as I want another new vehicle.

500HP in a test calibration, and 500HP that meets SOX and NOX standards, while keeping the aftertreatment system alive for 250,000+ miles are a whole different thing. Especially when keeping DEF consumption at levels low enough to prevent pissing customers off.
The turbocharger change for 2017 (which is the only current "major" engine component slated for change) will open up a bit of power. Another 25hp would be feasible, not much more.
Doing all 3 tasks (HP uprate, pass emissions, keep components intact) are a very balanced effort, and a 60HP increase in a single year on the existing 6.7 long block, for a production feasible release, isn't happening. Will you see it happen in a few years, as the aftertreatment technology advances? Very likely.
We created a true 500RWHP tune (505, to be exact) with the factory aftertreatment still in place when testing last month on the 2015 vehicles. Note, 500 rear wheel, not base engine. That exhaust system now has a permanent home in my shop floor; appropriately and eloquently labeled in Sharpie by my shop crew:

I have a close friend that works for ford and he told me some news for 2017 power stroke for super duty, right now they are wrapping up testing and 2017 gets here the power stroke will have 500 hp and 1000 on tq, he told me this was the reason dodge done the 900 on engine because ford was going to shock everyone with increase, he also told me he heard dodge will be looking into a 7.2 liter to produce close to 450 hp and 950 tq in 2019.
