I am active on another forum for RVs and I keep seeing information that I think is wrong. It was my understanding that the 3V V10 was never offered in the E series. My RV is a 2008 chassis and I have been told several times that it was a 3V. I thought I read here that the 3V V10 doesn't fit in this chassis. Is this correct? I also hear references to an F53 chassis. Is this the E series chassis or the larger chassis that Ford offers for the gas V10 powered Class A RVs? My guess is it is for the larger Class A. If the 3V doesn't fit in the E series, did Ford use them in the Class A chassis? Sorry for the see Spot run type questions. I thought I knew this but I am beginning to doubt my understanding.
The only thing I can contribute is the full-bodied E-Series did NOT receive the 3V engines in any displacement.
Sadly I can't add anything about the cutaway or F53 chassis as I have no direct experience about them Depending what CID you have post these same questions in the Modular Motor sub-forums here on FTE---lots of brain power engine-wise there.
