I have a '99 ford expedition eddy bauer edition that is having the same problems. Started about a week ago intermittently and has progressively gotten worse where it starts more in neutral than it does in park. So after reading this forum i am guessing that i have a nss problem as well?

Could be. When I start my 77, I lean over the wheel, hold the shifter up with my left hand, and turn the key with my right hand. Or just start it in neutral
LOL! Wow u guys sure know how to get uppity in the nicest kinda way. and I say, "that's what he says" hahaha anywho.. I been searching for 5.0 efi fuel injected 8 cyl diagram to find my ECT sensor.. this is not a mustang, but on mustang forms and for troubleshooting check list hot engine no start was at the very bottom and the only thing it told me was when it doesnt start when got to pedal to the metal it and crank, if it starts then, it's gonna be the ect.
well I've been doing that for months now, that or just leaving it run, anndd go to start it up one day and she won't fire. so I'm determined to find this ECT sensor and jump it, if that starts it, I will go and grab the cheap sensor and replace.
also, could maybe be the fuel pressure regulator, I'd like to see where that is too. is it normal to be able to prime the pump and keep doing it without it stopping eventually? well it ended up flooding my oil and drowned my new plugs... schematics or pics or anything to help my pimpmobile haha sticker on door says late(Sept 94) but everything else says 95 Econoline 5.0L efi fuel injected v8 302 blah blah.. thanks much!
that's what she said!
The only sentence I can think of where a curse word is used as a verb, adjective, and noun is something I learned from a retired USN master chief who was my class' instructor in advanced electronics school. I don't remember his real name but I named him "Lurch" after the butler in The Addams Family cuz he was tall, skinny, and mostly stoic... after a few weeks the entire school called him that.
Here's what he said:
"Eff them effin' effers"
Get it?
I know that guy, he taught me the same thing. Great Lakes. I still use it today. Almost 40 years later.
