Hello all, I am new to this forum. I just bought a 2000 F-350 Crew Cab Dually with the auto, and I was changing the motor oil, filters, etc. I went to check the rear end and noticed that the oil level was low (rear cover leak). So I topped it off with fluid, but I really want a Finned cover to help the cooling. I searched, but could not re-find where is the best place to get a low cost Aluminum cover? I have found some on e-bay ranging from 66 to 80 dollars, just don't know if they are made in china or not.


I ordered the Mobil 1 oil from pepboys, since they have a 35% off on-line sale ended today.

 

Get one from riffraff diesel. He makes his own out of aluminum and comes with a oring rather then using rtv. Great price also.

 

I checked riffraft and they don't make one for the Dana 80, just the 10.25 and 10.50.


I might go with the B & M, they run about 180.00 and they also add strength.
