New Navigator Owner Here

Just purchased myself a 2008 Lincon Navigator L. I fell in love with it after test driving the same model here, and I just had to buy it.

I just got one question. The model I purchased does not have the chrome on the siding like I see on other Lincolns. I know it's just a cosmetic thing, but that's the first thing I see when I tested the Navigator and one of the things I really liked about it.

(Car here no chrome siding)

Does anyone know if that's a part I can purchase and install?

Personally, I find it really tacky, but any custom auto shop will be able to add it for you. You may be able to just purchase it online also. Keep in mind you paid extra not to have it.

If you REALLY want to add it, there are probably used take offs on ebay... I wouldnt do it... Think its an extra $1500 package when the truck was new- maybe more...

The chrome came standard. The painted door mouldings came as part of the Limited/Monochrome package.

Congrats - we just got a 2013 as well, fell in love with it too. Honestly the biggest selling point was the fold flat seats in the back. Ours came with chrome molding, it does make it look a little slicker but wasn't a must have.
