TSB related transmission issue

I got my truck back today after the dealer took care of a click that my transmission. I would click every time I put it into reverse and also occasionally when coasting. They said the tsb was to replace a shim bolt seal (or something like that) on the transmission. They also said it is a fairly common issue. I got the truck back and the click seems to be fixed, but now I have another issue. On the way home I noticed a droning sound coming from the transmission. At some points I could also feel it in the floor. I am dropping the truck off tomorrow AM and I hope they can figure it out. Here are a few video and no, I do not have mud tires

I'm glad this is in the hands of your dealer, Liam_Harrow. How many miles are on your truck? Be sure to come back and let us know what you find out. I'll be here if you need my help.

Sorry to hear about your new issue. I have one similar to the clicking issue you described. Do you happen to know what the TSB number they used to fix the problem?

Thanks

Thank you Crystal,

The truck has about 33k right now. The dealer said they would try to take care of it today. They are backed up for about a week on appointments so I am happy they could squeeze it in. I will report back

Robb,

They took the service receipt today when I brought it back. I will post the tsb number once I get it back.

Just got a call from the dealer. They said they could reproduce the sound while driving but not while up on the lift. They said they were bringing in a transmission specialist to check it out.

Just got the truck back. They said that they incorrectly installed the shim bolt. Everything feels smooth again!
