Rear diff question

I'm sure this is covered in other threads, but I can't find it. I'm wondering what weight gear oil I need in my rear deferential and what size hex driver I need to remove the plug. I have a 75 F250 4x4 that is leaking from the plug. Thanks Dino

85w140, 80w90, or 75w90 gear oil. Your call.

Substitute 4 oz. of friction modifier if equipped with a limited slip differential... pour it in first and then fill til it starts to dribble outta the hole.

Size? Are ya serious? C'mon Dino.... crawl under your truck and figure it out!!!

On the friction modifier, you can also buy gear oil with it already in there from the parts store these days.
