83 f150 solid axle conversion

I just need some advice pictures on some of the things i would have to do to get rid of the ifs n swap to 78 front solid axle d44. More of a budget build. Looking to swap so i can lift without having the problem of the toed front wheels. The truck has my old faithful 300 attached to a c6 3 speed. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

This guy has a lot of info on the early axles. Keep searching, you can probably find someone who modified the axle to fit our trucks.

Mr.N's Dana Articles to Include 44, 60 information.

This swap is not that easy if I remember correctly. Not like putting a dana 60 into a f250 is easy. You may find the proper lift kit being the cheaper way to go and definitely easier to get some lift with a kit.

Take a trip over to full-size bronco, this is a very common, and we'll documented swap. It is not 100% bolt on, but it has been done many times.
