F600 rear wheel seal--wear sleeve

Just came from my shop, so here is my first stop. Do brake job on my 1955 F600. The original wheel seals had no part numbers.
My part man sent me National 370046A seals, just checked them out. Fit the hub, but not the axle.
My question is correct replacement seal and wrong wear sleeve, wrong seal?
Thanks

What axle do you have?

The parts CD shows 53-55 F-600 (model code TH) using a B6J-1175-A. Searching on that I find dimensions 3-1/8" ID, 4.631" OD, .437" width. Cross references to
Ford TAAA-1175-A
SEALED POWER N-31299

Not sure which axle that's really for tho... see below

Thanks for the info, the part numbers you gave me specs match the National seals I have.
Maybe they just fit that tight new, no wear sleeves on the axle tube. Going to machist mike on it
Replaced a lot of them in the last 45yrs, never seen any this tight.😬

1953/55 F600 & C600 could have either a Timken model E105 single speed rear axle, or an Eaton model 1350 two speed rear axle.

Timken:

B6J-1175-A .. Rear Axle Seal 4 5/8" O.D. / Timken # A-1205-G-736 // Carrier: A15-E-395 / Obsolete

O-S-I (Obsolete-Supercede-Interchange) catalog shows that B6J-1175-A was obsoleted, it was not replaced by TCAA-1175.

TCAA-1175-A 3 7/8" O.D. (1948/56 catalog: 1953/56 F350 [Y] & P350 [J]) / Timken # A-1205-V-724 .. was replaced in 1982 by E2TZ-1175-A

This is a great thread and the information great. I looked on eBay and on Amazon, but I went to Dennis Carpenter and purchased them for less than $20 plus the flat rate shipping. I will find out when they get here how well they work. All this information helped and I was able to find them in my book. I am getting better at finding parts ask I start to learn how to use it.
