I appreciate that, but I think it will be heading my way sometime late this week or early next week.

I'm over between Galveston and Houston.

No, none of the RV manufacturers are all that impressive when it gets down to it. Experiences may vary.

In my case it was something they refused to acknowledge as a defect and claimed they have never seen before (big fat lie).

They had used the thinner set roofing select on seals on the sides, then obviously realized the mistake and covered it with the correct sealer. The result is all the seals "bleedding" through.

The only real solution is complete replacement of the unit and that is why they won't acknowledge their mistake.

This was all the way up to their director over service and warranties up north at FR hq. The local dealer was good and they knew exactly what was wrong but they need the okay from higher do anything about it.

Buyer beware.

Just read through this and am curious. It shows you bought a bumper pull but you picture in the signature shows a 5th wheel. Did you have issues with the bumper pull or did you just upgrade to the 5'ver?

He bought a bumper pull soon after this thread was started, but then upgraded to an F-450 and decided with so much truck, he needed a 5th wheel instead of a bumper pull.
