I did the first oil change on my new to me 2008 Super Duty 5.4.
I've always used regular oil, and change every 3000 miles. I bought regular Penzoil 5-20. After I put 5 quarts in I checked the owners manual to check the volume required , and found it recommends "synthetic blend".
Is regular oil going to cause issues, will I make it to town to get the right stuff?

Hey blacklab1 - You should be OK with conventional Pennzoil in your vehicle for this oil drain period. We propose that you switch over to a Pennzoil synthetic blend motor oil at your next oil change to stay consistent with your owner’s manual. Pennzoil Gold Synthetic Blend 5W-20 motor oil would be our recommendation since it meets your Ford’s specifications. Hope this info helps! – The Pennzoil Team
