Seat Conversion
I have looked at the new seats that are coming out and I would like to get some for my rebuild. They are the seats that are heated but also have those holes in them that allow you to put regular air through them. Does anybody know where to purchase them and install them and possibly what it would take to install them. I am rebuilding a 1975 F250 highboy.

Do you have a set of seats already? I've looked at buying them till I realized they are thousands of dollars. You will have to fabricate your own brackets. From what I've seen from studying a friends 2012 most of the components for the seats are under the them. I think this will cause the seats to sit up to high, especially with the high back buckets. Obviously you'd have to fab a mount for the needed switches and what not. Wirng power shouldn't be to hard. In your google searches make sure to include stuff for Chevy and dodge trucks. Will increased the chance of somebody doing this and the challenges they could have come across.

I am finding out that you are right they are way pricey. I was thinking of running the hardware under the truck to save room. I guess I will have to keep my eye on the junk yards and hope a vehicle gets wrecked with what I want.
